Bio

Andrea Gohmert, AuD is a Clinical Associate Professor of Audiology in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences in the School of Health Professions at the University of Texas at Tyler. 

She earned a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University, a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University, and her AuD from the University of Florida.

Dr. Gohmert is a member of the Audiology Academy of the National Academies of Practice (NAP). She serves on the Board of Directors for the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE). She is also active in the American Academy of Audiology and has served on the Coding and Reimbursement Committee since 2019. Her areas of research and instruction include vestibular disorders, electrophysiology, medical audiology and advanced diagnostics.
