Bio
Andrea Gohmert, AuD is the Director of Audiology Clinical Operations at the Callier Center for Communication Disorders and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Speech, Language, Hearing Department in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University, a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University, and her AuD from the University of Florida.
Dr. Gohmert is a member of the Audiology Academy of the National Academies of Practice (NAP). She serves on the Board of Directors for the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE). She is also active in the American Academy of Audiology and has served on the Coding and Reimbursement Committee since 2019. Her areas of research and instruction include vestibular disorders, electrophysiology, medical audiology and advanced diagnostics.
