Ellen Price, PT, MEd earned a physical therapy degree from Northeastern University and a Masters in Allied Health Education from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She served as the program director and clinical coordinator for several physical therapist assistant programs as well as a clinical associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Boston University. During her academic career, she served as an on-site reviewer/team leader and as a member of the PTA Review Panel, Commission on Accreditation for Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). In 2001 she joined the Accreditation Department of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as the assistant director for physical therapy education programs. Currently retired, she held various positions in APTA’s Accreditation Department for more than 16 years.
