Bio

Christopher Spankovich, AuD, PhD, MPH is a Clinical Audiologist and the Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) and serves as the Director of the Doctor of Audiology Program at UMMC. His research focus spans basic and clinical investigations into identifying and leveraging modifiable risk factors for mitigating susceptibility to acquired hearing loss and tinnitus. Dr. Spankovich is a clinical audiologist with specialty in auditory electrophysiology, tinnitus and decreased sound tolerance disorder evaluation and management, and hearing conservation. Dr. Spankovich is as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Audiology and recently completed service on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Audiology.
