Since December 7, 2021

On December 7, 2021, the ACAE Board of Directors approved the Developing Status application submitted by the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The approval process allows the University of Mississippi Medical Center to implement a Doctor of Audiology curriculum and to admit an initial class of students.

Developing Status does not indicate that a program is accredited, nor does it guarantee or imply ACAE accreditation of the program in the future.

The Doctor of Audiology Program (AuD) in the Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Sciences is expecting to admit an initial class of students in fall 2023.
